Very nice employees! Great concept and an ingenious facility and at the same time very well maintained. The café is more than it seems at first glance, as there is also the possibility to sit in a beautifully decorated "inner courtyard" :)

Super cool team, great menu, delicious milk coffee and the buttered pretzel ... the backyard is so beautiful, I have to sit there in summer.

When visiting, you should definitely take a look at the courtyard :-) Here you can relax with a cup of coffee and enjoy a book and forget about everyday life.

Cozy, informal atmosphere. Very good coffee, everything is appetizing and tastes good. The more you look around, the more original details you see. (even the toilet has style in a positive sense!) The service is friendly and matches the café with its youthful charm.

Chance is the best cook. Were in the Black Giant for the first time. Super spice bread, delicious Elisen gingerbread, coffee the way you want it. Recommendation for all time travelers ;-) We were 40 years back with our feelings. We will travel again !!

The cracker ... everything was great ... the service was very courteous and nice ..... decor, very cozy ... exactly my thing .... cake from the boss's mother .... great and finally a real coffee again. Absolutely recommendable ******* 7 stars ..... I / we will be back!

Great cafe. Breakfast was delicious. Inside there is plenty of space and outside there are four tables.

The service is friendly, the coffee is delicious and the poppy seed cake is world class;)

Simply the best in the city.

Small, quaint coffee shop also serving cakes, bread and sandwiches. All the bakery goods are of very good quality as they come from a reputable local bakery. The sandwiches are made on the spot with love. The coffee beans served and sold here are also impressive being sourced from a local roastery. Unfortunately this is a small town which hasn't yet developed a coffee culture meaning the coffee served at this place is definitely on par with the other coffee shops in town but not up to international standards. This place is often frequented by people with children so if having those run around and playing (usually in the back room) is too much noise you should chose to sit in the front for a more quiet atmosphere. There is a book shelf with some books and up to date magazines and newspapers which you can peruse during your visit. If they play music its usually only faintly in the background making for a lovely atmosphere without creating disturbances.
